युधिष्ठिरस्य अर्जुनप्रेषण-युक्तिवर्णनम् | Yudhiṣṭhira’s Rationale for Sending Arjuna and Request to Dhaumya
तत्राभिषेकं कुर्वाणो वाजपेयमवाप्नुयात् । देवकूटं समासाद्य ब्रह्मर्षिगणसेवितम्
tatrābhiṣekaṃ kurvāṇo vājapeyam avāpnuyāt | devakūṭaṃ samāsādya brahmarṣigaṇasevitam ||
そこにおいて灌頂（アビシェーカ）の儀を行う者は、ヴァージャペーヤ（Vājapeya）祭の功徳を得る。さらに、梵仙（Brahmarṣi）の群れが常に仕え敬うデーヴァクータ（Devakūṭa）に至れば、聖地において正しく儀礼を修することにより清めの法果を得る。すなわち、戒めを守る規律と聖者との交わりが霊的位階を高めるのである。
