अथ गच्छेत राजेन्द्र देविकां लोकविश्रुताम् । प्रसूतिर्यत्र विप्राणां श्रूयते भरतर्षभ,भरतवंशशिरोमणे! राजेन्द्र! वहाँसे लोकविख्यात देविकातीर्थकी यात्रा करे, जहाँ ब्राह्मणोंकी उत्पत्ति सुनी जाती है
atha gacchet rājendra devikāṃ lokaviśrutām | prasūtir yatra viprāṇāṃ śrūyate bharatarṣabha ||
次いで、王の中の最上よ、世に名高い「デーヴィカー（Devikā）」というティールタへ赴くがよい。バーラタ族の雄牛よ、そこではブラーフマナたちの起源が語り伝えられていると聞くからである。
