दमयन्ती–बाहुकसंवादः
Damayantī’s Dialogue with Bāhuka; Recognition and Disclosure
अत्र मे महती शड़्का भवेदेष नलो नृप: । यथा च मनसस्तुष्टिहददयस्य च निर्वति:,इसके विषयमें मुझे बड़ी भारी शंका है। सम्भव है, इस वेषमें राजा नल ही हों। मेरे मनमें जैसा संतोष है और हृदयमें जैसी शान्ति है, इसे मेरी उक्त धारणा पुष्ट हो रही है
atra me mahatī śaṅkā bhaved eṣa nalo nṛpaḥ | yathā ca manasaḥ tuṣṭir hṛdayasya ca nirvṛtiḥ ||
ブリハダシュヴァは語った。「ここに、わたしの内に大いなる疑いが起こる。もしかするとこの男は、姿を偽った那羅王ではあるまいか。心に満ちる確信と胸に宿る静けさが、その疑念をいよいよ強く裏づけているように思われる。」
