एवं तया यथोक्तो वै गत्वा राजानमब्रवीत् | ऋतुपर्ण महाराज सुदेवो ब्राह्मणस्तदा,महाराज! दमयन्तीके इस प्रकार बतानेपर सुदेव ब्राह्मणने राजा ऋतुपर्णके पास जाकर वही बात कही
evaṃ tayā yathokto vai gatvā rājānam abravīt | ṛtuparṇa mahārāja sudevo brāhmaṇas tadā ||
彼女の言葉どおりに命を受けたバラモンのスデーヴァは、王のもとへ赴いて事の次第を告げた。敬って「マハーラージャ・リトゥパルナ」と呼びかけ、ダマヤンティーの伝言を託されたままに忠実に伝え、使者としての務めを果たした。
