ऋतुपर्णस्य विदर्भयात्रा-निश्चयः तथा बाहुकस्य हयपरिक्षा (Ṛtuparṇa’s resolve to go to Vidarbha and Bāhuka’s examination of horses)

तच्छुत्वा वचन तस्य सुदेवस्य विशाम्पते | सुनन्दा शोधयामास पिप्लुप्रच्छादनं मलम्‌,युधिष्ठिर! सुदेवका यह वचन सुनकर सुनन्दाने दमयन्तीके ललाटवर्ती चिह्नको ढँकनेवाली मैल धो दी

tac chrutvā vacanaṁ tasya sudevasya viśāmpate | sunandā śodhayāmāsa piplupra-cchādanaṁ malam, yudhiṣṭhira |

民の主よ、スデーヴァの言葉を聞くや、スナンダーは額の印を覆っていた垢を洗い落とし始めた。真の身分と尊厳が、もはや隠されぬためである。
