अनागा येन निकृतस्त्वमनहों जनाधिप । क्रोधादसूययित्वा तं रक्षा मे भवत: कृता,“नरेश्वरर आप छल-कपदटद्वारा सताये जानेयोग्य नहीं थे, तो भी जिसने बिना किसी अपराधके आपके साथ कपटका व्यवहार किया है, उसीके प्रति क्रोधसे दोषदृष्टि रखकर मैंने आपकी रक्षा की है

Transliteration

Bṛhadaśva uvāca: anāgā yena nikṛtas tvam anaho janādhipa | krodhād asūyayitvā taṃ rakṣā me bhavataḥ kṛtā ||

Translation

ブリハダシュヴァは言った。「人々の主よ、そなたは咎なく、本来悩まされるべきではなかった。だが、そなたに何の非もないのに欺いた者こそ、我が怒りと譴責の的となった。その憤りに突き動かされ、我はそなたを守るために行動したのだ。」
