एतस्मिन्नेव काले तु सुराणामृषिसत्तमौ । अटमानौ महात्मानाविन्द्रलोकमितो गतौ,इसी समय देवर्षिप्रवर महान्‌ व्रतधारी महाप्राज्ञ नारद और पर्वत दोनों महात्मा इधरसे घूमते हुए इन्द्रलोकमें गये। वहाँ उन्होंने देवराजके भवनमें प्रवेश किया। उस भवनमें उनका विशेष आदर-सत्कार एवं पूजन किया गया

etasmineva kāle tu surāṇām ṛṣisattamau | aṭamānau mahātmānāv indralokam ito gatau ||

まさにその時、神々の中でも最勝の仙人二人――大いなる魂を備え、名高き聖者たち――が遍歴し、ここよりインドラの世界へと赴いた。彼らの来訪は、天上のリシたちが諸界を往来する動きを示し、人間界を超えたところで、より高次の道徳と宇宙秩序の関心が動き出していることを暗示する。
