Educational Q&A

Respectful service and wholehearted hospitality offered to the virtuous (especially sages) in accordance with dharma invite their goodwill; such goodwill, expressed as a boon, becomes a source of legitimate prosperity and progeny.

After being duly honored, the sage Damana becomes pleased and, along with his wife, grants a boon to the king: an excellent daughter and three noble sons.
