एको वै रक्षिता चैव त्रिदिवं मघवानिव । अकत्थनो मानयिता स्थूललक्ष्य: प्रियंवद:
eko vai rakṣitā caiva tridivaṁ maghavān iva | akatthano mānayitā sthūlalakṣyaḥ priyaṁvadaḥ ||
ヴァイシャンパーヤナは言った。「彼はまことに孤高の守護者であった—マガヴァーン（インドラ）が神々の天界を守るがごとく。誇りを弄せず、他者を敬い、志はまっすぐで明らか、言葉は柔らかく人の心を喜ばせた。」
