Śiva Grants the Pāśupata Astra (Pāśupata-Śastra Upadeśa) | शिवेन पाशुपतास्त्रदानम्
ततोडर्जुनो मुर्दं लेभे लब्धास्त्र: पुरुषर्षभ: । कृतार्थमथ चात्मानं स मेने पूर्णणमानसम्,तदनन्तर देवताओंसे दिव्यास्त्र प्राप्त करके पुरुषोत्तम अर्जुनको बड़ी प्रसन्नता हुई; उन्होंने अपने-आपको कृतार्थ एवं पूर्णमनोरथ माना
tato 'rjuno mūrddhaṃ lebhe labdhāstraḥ puruṣarṣabhaḥ | kṛtārtham atha cātmānaṃ sa mene pūrṇamanāsam ||
かくして、人中の雄牛たるアルジュナは、天授の武器を得て、名誉により頭を高く掲げる思いであった。彼は自らを目的成就の者と見なし、心はすっかり満ち足りた—神々の恩寵と、力を求める節度ある修行とが、ついに成功として結実したと悟ったのである。
