वैशम्पायन उवाच इत्युक्त्वान्तर्दथे धर्मों भगवॉललोकभावन: । समेता: पाण्डवाश्वैव सुखसुप्ता मनस्विन:
vaiśampāyana uvāca: ity uktvāntardadhe dharmo bhagavāṁl lokabhāvanaḥ | sametāḥ pāṇḍavāś caiva sukhasuptā manasvinaḥ ||
ヴァイシャンパーヤナは語った。そう言い終えると、ダルマ――福徳に満ち、諸世界を支える御方――は姿を消した。パーンダヴァたちもまた集い合い、気高きその男たちは安らかな眠りに落ちた。
वैशम्पायन उवाच
Dharma is portrayed as a living, divine principle that guides and then withdraws; once instruction or assurance is given, one must internalize it and rest in steadiness—symbolized by the Pāṇḍavas’ calm sleep.
After speaking, the personified Dharma vanishes, marking the close of an encounter or message; the Pāṇḍavas, now together and mentally composed, settle into a peaceful sleep.
