युधिछिर उवाच इष्वस्त्रमेषां देवत्वं यज्ञ एषां सतामिव । भयं वै मानुषो भाव: परित्यागोडसतामिव
yudhiṣṭhira uvāca | iṣv-astram eṣāṁ devatvaṁ yajña eṣāṁ satām iva | bhayaṁ vai mānuṣo bhāvaḥ parityāgo ’satām iva ||
ユディシュティラは言った。「このクシャトリヤたちにとって神性とは、弓矢と武器の技に通じること。祭祀（ヤジュニャ）は、正しき者に等しい彼らのダルマである。恐れはまことに人の情だが、苦難の中で庇護を求めて来た者を見捨てるのは、不義の者のふるまいである。」
