Educational Q&A

The verse implicitly cautions that mere martial power and harsh speech are not sufficient; restraint and discernment are required, especially when confronted by a moral or spiritual test (the Yakṣa).

In the Yakṣa episode, Arjuna—checked or challenged—responds defiantly, demanding the unseen restrainer to appear and threatening to destroy him with arrows, while the Yakṣa remains a testing presence.
