ki nu taj japatāṃ śreṣṭha karṇa prati mahad bhayam | āsīj na ca sa dharmātmā kathayāmāsa kasyacit ||
ジャナメージャヤは問うた。「聖なる伝承を誦する者のうち最上の方よ、カルナに関わるその大いなる恐れとは何か。しかも、あの法に生きる者はなぜそれを誰にも語らなかったのか。」
