brāhmaṇā ūcuḥ | putreṇa saṅgataṁ tvāṁ tu cakṣuṣmantaṁ nirīkṣya ca sarve vayaṁ vai pṛcchāmo vṛddhiṁ vai pṛthivīpate ||
The verse models dharmic social conduct: elders and Brahmins offer respectful inquiry and blessings to a king, celebrating restoration (reunion and regained sight) and wishing prosperity—an ethic of goodwill, gratitude, and proper address.
Brahmins, seeing the king reunited with his son and now able to see, approach him and formally ask after his welfare and prosperity, expressing communal joy at his improved condition.
