Sūrya’s Counsel to Karṇa on Kīrti and the Kuṇḍala

जब वे दोनों निशाचर अपने राक्षसरूपमें प्रकट हुए, तब श्रीरामने उन्हें अपनी सेनाका दर्शन कराकर छोड़ दिया ।। निवेश्योपवने सैन्यं तत्‌ पुर: प्राज्ञवानरम्‌ । प्रेषयामास दौत्येन रावणस्य ततो$5ज्भदम्‌,लंकापुरीके उपवनमें वानरसेनाको ठहराकर श्रीरघुनाथजीने बुद्धिमान्‌ वानर अंगदको दूतके रूपमें रावणके यहाँ भेजा

niveśyopavane sainyaṃ tat puraḥ prājñavānaram | preṣayāmāsa dautyena rāvaṇasya tato 'ṅgadam ||

その二人の夜行の者が羅刹の姿を現すと、シュリー・ラーマはまず自軍を彼らに見せ、しかる後に放った。ついでランカー城近くの園林にヴァーナラ軍を駐め、先見の明をもって、賢きヴァーナラのアンガダを使者としてラーヴァナのもとへ遣わした。
