Sūrya’s Counsel to Karṇa on Kīrti and the Kuṇḍala
सर्वराक्षसराज्ये चाप्यभ्यषिज्चद् विभीषणम् । चक्रे च मन्त्रसचिवं सुहृदं लक्ष्मणस्थ च
sarvarākṣasarājye cāpy abhyasiñcad vibhīṣaṇam | cakre ca mantrasacivaṁ suhṛdaṁ lakṣmaṇaś ca ||
マールカンデーヤは語った。「そして羅刹の国土すべてにわたり、彼はヴィビーシャナを王として灌頂し、即位させた。さらに、信頼する友であるラクシュマナを大臣・参謀として任じた。かくして勝利ののち、統治はただ力によってではなく、正当な任命と助言、そして忠実な友情によって打ち立てられたのである。」
