स मास: पज्चरात्रेण पूर्णो भवितुम्ति । तत:ः श्रोष्यसि रामेण सहित: सुमहत् प्रियम्,“वह एक मास, जिसके समाप्त होनेतक वानरोंको लौट आना है, पाँच रातमें पूरा हो जायगा। तत्पश्चात् आप रामचन्द्रजेके साथ सीताका अत्यन्त प्रिय समाचार सुनेंगे”
sa māsaḥ pañcarātreṇa pūrṇo bhavitum iti | tataḥ śroṣyasi rāmeṇa sahitaḥ sumahat priyam |
猿たちの帰還期限として定めたその一か月は、わずか五夜にして満ちるであろう。そののち、汝はラーマと共に、きわめて喜ばしく、最も愛すべき報せ――シーターに関する吉報――を聞くことになる。
