Dvaītavana: Brahmaghoṣa, Rṣi-saṅgha, and Baka Dālbhyā’s Upadeśa to Yudhiṣṭhira
योअरर्जुनेनार्जुनस्तुल्यो द्विबाहुर्बहुबाहुना
yo 'rjunena arjunas tulyo dvibāhur bahubāhunā
ヴァイシャンパーヤナは言った。「ただ二臂でありながら、アルジュナが多臂のごとく威を示す時でさえ、アルジュナに比肩した者である。」
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights that true excellence is measured by inner capability and valor, not merely by outward displays of power; even without a spectacular, superhuman form, one may match the greatest hero.
Vaiśampāyana describes a figure whose prowess is so great that, despite appearing as an ordinary two-armed person, he is said to be equal to Arjuna even when Arjuna is envisioned in a many-armed, extraordinary manifestation.
