bhayaṅkaro ’tha bhramaro raviśvaśūraḥ pratāpaḥ kuhanaśna nāma | yaṃ ghaṭa-sahasrā rathino ’nuyānti nāgā hayāś caiva padātinaś ca ||
「さらに、恐るべき戦士ブラマラがいる――ラヴィシュヴァシューラとも呼ばれ、武威にすぐれ、クハナシュナの名でも知られる。彼の後には、幾千もの車戦士が、象・馬・歩兵とともに従う。」
कोटिक उवाच
The verse functions as a heroic catalogue: it highlights how a single formidable leader draws vast forces behind him, underscoring the Mahābhārata theme that power and responsibility scale together in warfare and leadership.
Koṭika continues listing notable warriors and their military strength, naming Bhramara (also called Raviśvaśūra/Kuhanaśna) and describing the large combined-arms force—chariots, elephants, horses, and infantry—that follows him.
