Daśagrīva-boonāvaraṇa, Viṣṇv-avatāra-niyoga, Vānara-sahāya-janana, Mantharā-nirmāṇa

Transliteration

iti śrīmahābhārate vanaparvaṇi vrīhidrāuṇikaparvaṇi dānadūṣkaratvakathane ekonaṣaṣṭyadhikadviśatatamo 'dhyāyaḥ

Translation

かくして、尊崇される『マハーバーラタ』の「森の巻（Vana Parva）」—とりわけ「ヴリーヒドローニカ」小段—において、真の布施（ダーナ）がいかに困難であるかを論じた章は終わる。これが第259章であり、この物語区分の結びである。
