इस प्रकार श्रीमह्ाभारत वनपवके अन्तर्गत घोषयात्रापर्वमें दुर्योधनका यज्ञविषयक दो सौ छप्पनवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ
Iti prakāraḥ Śrīmahābhārata-Vanaparvaṇi antargata-Ghoṣayātrāparvaṇi Duryodhanasya yajñaviṣayakaḥ dviśata-ṣaṭpañcāśattamo 'dhyāyaḥ pūrṇaḥ.
かくして『シュリー・マハーバーラタ』林住篇（ヴァナ・パルヴァ）「ゴーシャヤートラー」小段における、ドゥルヨーダナの祭祀（ヤジュニャ）に関する第二百五十六章は終わる。この奥書は当該挿話の完結を示し、また暗に、驕りや対抗心に駆られた儀礼の誇示は、ダルマに根ざす供犠とは倫理的に異なることを聴き手に想起させる。
