धृतराष्ट्रस्य क्रतु-प्रवर्तनम् तथा पाण्डवानां निमन्त्रण-प्रतिवचनम्

इस प्रकार श्रीमह्याभारत वनपर्वके अन्तर्गत घोषयात्रापर्वमें यन्धर्वदुर्योधनसेनासंवादविषयक दो सौ चालीसवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ
iti prakāraṃ śrīmahābhārate vanaparvaṇi antargate ghoṣayātrāparvaṇi gandharva-duryodhana-senā-saṃvāda-viṣayakaḥ dviśata-cattvāriṃśattamo 'dhyāyaḥ samāptaḥ
かくして、尊き『シュリー・マハーバーラタ』の「森の巻（ヴァナ・パルヴァ）」における「ゴーシャ・ヤートラー（牧営遠征）」の小段、すなわちガンダルヴァ、ドゥルヨーダナ、そして軍勢に関する対話を扱う第二百四十章は終わる。語りはここにこの区切りの終結を示し、次なる展開への移行を告げる。
