ततो मायास्त्रमास्थाय युयुधे चित्रमार्गवित्‌ । तयामुहान्त कौरव्यश्रित्रसेनस्थ मायया

Transliteration

tato māyāstram āsthāya yuyudhe citramārgavit | tayā muhyanta kauravyaś citrasenastha māyayā ||

Translation

そのとき、奇策に通じた者はマーヤーアストラ（幻術の武器）を取り、戦いを続けた。その幻力によってクル族の戦士たちは惑乱に投げ込まれ、チトラーセーナは立ったまま自らのマーヤーを行使した。この一件は、欺きによって振るわれる力が驕る者の自信を覆し、見かけが操られるとき識別の智が試されることを示している。
