Duryodhana’s Return toward Hastinapura; Karṇa’s Consolation

tulyo hi praṇayas teṣāṃ pradyumnasya ca bhāvini | evamādi priyaṃ satyaṃ hṛdyam uktvā manonugam ||

Educational Q&A

Truthful, mind-concordant speech that is also heart-pleasing can heal tension and reinforce dharmic relationships; respect shown through courteous acts (like circumambulation) strengthens social and familial harmony.

Vaiśaṃpāyana narrates Satyabhāmā reassuring someone addressed as “bhāvini” that the group’s affection for her sons is equal, including Pradyumna’s. After speaking these consoling, truthful words, Satyabhāmā prepares to go toward Kṛṣṇa’s chariot and respectfully circumambulates Draupadī.
