याति संहर्षयन्‌ सर्वास्तेजसा त्रिदिवौकस: । इन सबके पीछे उज्ज्वल रथपर आरुढ़ हो रुद्रदेव यात्रा करते थे, जो अपने तेजसे सम्पूर्ण देवताओंका हर्ष बढ़ा रहे थे

yāti saṁharṣayan sarvās tejasā tridivaukasaḥ |

マールカンデーヤは言った。「彼は進みゆき、その光輝によって三天の住人すべてを歓喜させる。」物語のうえでは、ルドラが輝く戦車に乗り、軍勢の後に従って進むその旅路は、神の臨在を示す道徳的象徴となる。彼の栄光そのものが神々を奮い立たせ、勇気と、宇宙の秩序への吉祥なる確信を取り戻させるのである。
