अजेयस्त्वं रणेडरीणामुमापतिरिव प्रभु: । एतत् ते प्रथमं देव ख्यातं कर्म भविष्यति
ajeyas tvaṁ raṇe 'rīṇām umāpatir iva prabhuḥ | etat te prathamaṁ deva khyātaṁ karma bhaviṣyati ||
マールカンデーヤは言った。「戦場において汝は敵に屈せぬ、不敗の主—ウマーの主（シヴァ）にも比すべき威徳を備える。これこそ、神なる者よ、汝が最初に名を轟かせる業となろう。」
