अभिषिच्यस्व देवानां सैनापत्ये महाबल । इन्द्रने कहा--महाबलवान्‌ स्कन्द! मैं तुम्हारे कहनेसे इन्द्र-पदपर प्रतिष्ठित रहूँगा। यदि वास्तवमें तुम मेरी आज्ञाका पालन करना चाहते हो, यदि तुमने यह निश्चित बात कही है, अथवा यदि तुम्हारा यह कथन सत्य है तो मेरी यह बात सुनो--महावीर! तुम देवताओंके सेनापतिके पदपर अपना अभिषेक करा लो

Transliteration

abhiṣicyasva devānāṃ saināpatye mahābala |

Translation

インドラは言った。「おお大いなる力を備えし者よ、諸天の軍の総帥たる職に就くため、灌頂の儀を受けよ。もし汝が真に我が命を敬い、決意が堅固にして真実であるなら、我が裁断を聞け。汝が勧めたとおり、我はインドラの位に安住しよう。汝はその代わりに、デーヴァたちの将軍として灌頂を受けよ。かくして権威は争いなく保たれ、務めは力と功徳が最もよく衆益に資するところへと定められる。」
