तादृशं विद्धि सर्वेषामेको होषु हुताशन: । वेदोंमें "अद्भुत! नामक अग्निके माहात्म्यका जैसा वर्णन है, वैसा ही सब अग्नियोंका समझना चाहिये; क्योंकि इन सबमें एक ही अग्नितत्त्व विद्यमान है
tādṛśaṃ viddhi sarveṣām eko hoṣu hutāśanaḥ |
マールカンデーヤは言った。「すべての火は同じ性質のものと知れ。あらゆる火のうちには、ただ一つ同一の火の原理が宿る。ゆえに、ヴェーダが『驚異の火』の偉大さとして説くものは、遍く火そのものの偉大さとして認められるべきである。」
