केकयाश्षाप्यनुज्ञाता: कौन्तेयेनामितौजसा । आमन्त्र्य पाण्डवान्‌ सर्वान्‌ प्रययुस्तेषपि भारत,भारत! केकयराजकुमार भी अमित तेजस्वी कुन्तीनन्दन युधिष्ठिरकी आज्ञा पा समस्त पाण्डवोंसे विदा लेकर अपने नगरको चले गये

kekayāś cāpy anujñātāḥ kaunteyenāmitaujasā | āmantrya pāṇḍavān sarvān prayayus teṣv api bhārata ||

ヴァイシャンパーヤナは語った。ケーカヤ国の王子たちは、クンティーの子にして比類なき剛腕の者から許しを得ると、パーンダヴァ一同に別れを告げ、やがて自らの都へと旅立った。この段は、許可を請い、礼を尽くして辞し、争いなく別れるという、正しい作法を際立たせている。
