Educational Q&A

Actions bind: wrongdoing creates karmic bondage that drives the soul into painful states—animal births and hell—until one turns toward dharma and purifies conduct, weakening the chain of consequences.

The Vyādha (hunter), instructing on dharma, explains the moral mechanics of transmigration: beings do not suffer randomly; they cycle through lower births and hell specifically because their own karma compels it.
