पञ्चवर्णोत्पत्तिः — The Origin of the Five-Colored Fiery Being and Ritual-Disruptor Lineages
अपरे धनधान्यैश्न भोगैश्व पितृसंचितै:
apare dhanadhānyaiś ca bhogaiś ca pitṛsañcitaiḥ
「また別の者たちは、祖先が蓄えた財と穀物、そしてその享楽に寄りかかって生きている。」
व्याध उवाच
The verse contrasts ways of living: some depend on inherited, ancestor-accumulated resources (wealth, grain, pleasures), implicitly raising an ethical reflection on livelihood, responsibility, and the proper use of inherited prosperity within dharma.
The Vyādha continues his instruction by describing different human modes of sustenance and enjoyment, noting that some people live on comforts and provisions passed down from their forefathers, as part of a broader discourse on righteous conduct.
