अविशेषेण तस्याहं कुर्या धर्म द्विजोत्तम | शुश्रूषाया: फल पश्य पत्युब्राह्मिण यादृशम्,द्विजश्रेष्ठ! मैं साधारणरूपसे ही पतिसेवारूप धर्मका पालन करती हूँ। ब्राह्मणदेवता! इस पतिसेवाका जैसा फल है, उसे प्रत्यक्ष देख लो
aviśeṣeṇa tasyāhaṃ kuryā dharmaṃ dvijottama | śuśrūṣāyāḥ phalaṃ paśya patyur brāhmiṇyā yādṛśam ||
婆羅門の女は言った。「おお、二度生まれし者のうち最上の方よ。わたしは飾り気なく、ただ夫に仕えることによって自らのダルマを守っております。尊き婆羅門よ、そのような夫への献身がいかなる果報を結ぶか、どうか直にご覧ください。」
