इन्द्रोडप्येषां प्रणमते कि पुनर्मानवो भुवि | अवलिप्ते न जानीषे वृद्धानां न श्रुतं त्वया
Transliteration
indro 'py eṣāṁ praṇamate ki punaḥ mānavo bhuvi | avalipte na jānīṣe vṛddhānāṁ na śrutaṁ tvayā ||
Translation
バラモンは言った。「インドラでさえ、そのような長老に礼拝する。まして地上のただの人間ならなおさらだ。だが汝は驕りにふくれ、悟らぬ。長老の教えを聞き入れなかったのだ。」
