इदं तु पुण्यमाख्यानं विष्णो: समनुकीर्तनम्
idaṃ tu puṇyam ākhyānaṃ viṣṇoḥ samanukīrtanam
マールカンデーヤは語った。「これはまことに聖なる物語—ヴィシュヌ（Viṣṇu）を絶え間なく讃え、語り継ぐ称揚である。これを聞き、また唱え伝える者は、心の清浄と揺るがぬ信愛（bhakti）へと導かれる。神聖を憶念することにより、聞く者がダルマにかなう道に保たれるからである。」
