शीतश्च वायु: प्रववी प्रयाणे तस्य धीमत: । विपांसुलां महीं कुर्वन् ववर्ष च सुरेश्वर:,उन बुद्धिमान् राजा कुवलाश्वचके यात्राकालमें शीतल वायु चलने लगी। देवराज इन्द्र धरतीकी धूल शान्त करनेके लिये वर्षा करने लगे
śītaś ca vāyuḥ pravavī prayāṇe tasya dhīmataḥ | vipāṃsulāṃ mahīṃ kurvan vavarṣa ca sureśvaraḥ ||
マールカンデーヤは語った。「その賢王が旅立つと、涼やかな風が吹き始めた。さらに神々の主インドラは雨を降らせ、大地の塵を鎮め、舞い上がる砂埃を消し去った——それは吉兆にして守護のしるし、正法（ダルマ）にかなう営みを支え、旅の苦労を和らげるものであった。」
