Dharma-vyādha on Parental Worship
Pitṛ-mātṛ-śuśrūṣā as Paramadaivata
upaplavo mahān asmān upāvartata keśava | uktaṃ pratikuruṣva tvaṃ kālo hi duratikramaḥ ||
The verse stresses urgency and responsible action: when a crisis approaches, one should implement wise counsel without delay, because Kāla (Time) is inexorable and cannot be easily resisted.
Mārkaṇḍeya addresses Keśava (Kṛṣṇa), warning that a major upheaval is closing in again and urging him to carry out the previously stated course of action, since events are being driven forward by Time.
