Guṇa-vibhāga and Prāṇa–Agni–Yoga Upadeśa (गुणविभाग तथा प्राण-अग्नि-योगोपदेश)
तेजसा तव तेजश्व विष्णुराप्याययिष्यति । विष्णुना च वरो दत्त: पूर्व मम महीपते,भूपाल! भगवान् विष्णु अपने तेजसे आपके तेजको बढ़ायेंगे। उन्होंने पूर्वकालमें मुझे यह वर दिया था कि जो राजा उस भयानक एवं महान् असुरका वध करनेको उद्यत होगा, उस दुर्धर्ष वीरके भीतर मेरा वैष्णव तेज प्रवेश करेगा
tejasā tava tejaśva viṣṇur āpyāyayiṣyati | viṣṇunā ca varo dattaḥ pūrvaṁ mama mahīpate bhūpāla |
ウッタンカは言った。「おお、光輝ある王よ。世尊ヴィシュヌは御自らの神威によって、あなたの威光をいよいよ増し給う。昔、地の主よ、ヴィシュヌは私に一つの恩寵を授けられた――あの恐るべき大アスラを討たんと立ち上がる王があれば、その征服されぬ勇士の内に、我がヴァイシュナヴァの威光が入り込むであろう、と。」
