The verse praises the deity as universally benevolent and recalls the Trivikrama episode to show that divine power, when aligned with dharma, restores cosmic balance—sometimes through subtle means like accepting a gift and transforming it into rightful sovereignty.
Uttanka addresses a god (understood as Viṣṇu) and extols him, citing the famous act of taking the three worlds in three strides (the Vāmana/Trivikrama deed involving Bali) as evidence of his supremacy and his role as a benefactor of all beings.
