तस्मिन् युगसहस्रान्ते सम्प्राप्ते चायुष: क्षये । अनावृष्टिर्महाराज जायते बहुवार्षिकी
tasmin yugasahasrānte samprāpte cāyuṣaḥ kṣaye | anāvṛṣṭir mahārāja jāyate bahuvārṣikī ||
ヴァイシャンパーヤナは言った。「大王よ、千のユガの終わりが到来し、寿命が尽きようとするその時、長き旱魃が起こり—雨は幾年にもわたり降らなくなる。」
