मार्कण्डेय उवाच ततः स राजा संहृष्ट: सिद्धे पक्षे महामना: । तमत्रिमब्रवीत् प्रीत: पूर्व येनाभिसंस्तुत:
Mārkaṇḍeya uvāca tataḥ sa rājā saṁhṛṣṭaḥ siddhe pakṣe mahāmanāḥ | tam Atrim abravīt prītaḥ pūrvaṁ yenābhisaṁstutaḥ ||
マールカṇḍेयは語った。するとその王は、己の主張が成就して立証されたのを見て、歓喜し大いなる心を抱き、かつて自分を讃え推挙したその聖仙アトリに、親愛をもって語りかけた。
