Sarasvatī–Tārkṣya Saṃvāda: Agnihotra-vidhi, Dāna-phala, and Mokṣa-prasaṅga (सरस्वती–तार्क्ष्यसंवादः)
ततः समस्तानि किरीटमाली वनेषु वृत्तानि गदाग्रजाय । उक्त्वा यथावत् पुनरन्वपृच्छत् कथं सुभद्रा च स चाभिमन्यु:,तदनन्तर किरीटधारी अर्जुनने गदके बड़े भाई भगवान् श्रीकृष्णकोी वनवासके सारे वत्तान्त यथार्थरूपसे बताकर पुनः उनसे पूछा--'सुभद्रा और अभिमन्यु कैसे हैं?
tataḥ samastāni kirīṭamālī vaneṣu vṛttāni gadāgrajāya | uktvā yathāvat punar anvapṛcchat kathaṃ subhadrā ca sa cābhimanyuḥ ||
それから冠を戴くアルジュナは、棍棒を持つ者の兄であるクリシュナに、森で起こった一切を、ありのまま順序立てて語り聞かせた。こうして流浪の次第を述べ終えると、重ねて問うた。「スバドラは、そしてアビマンニュは、いかがでしょうか。」
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights dharmic speech and responsibility: one should report events truthfully and in proper order (yathāvat), and even amid exile and struggle, one’s ethical attention returns to the welfare of family and dependents.
Vaiśampāyana narrates that Arjuna informs Krishna of everything that happened during the forest life/exile, and then immediately asks about the well-being of Subhadrā and their son Abhimanyu.
