The passage highlights heroic resolve and self-reliance in adversity: Bhīma’s fearlessness and vigor sustain the exiled Pandavas’ survival, while also showing how raw power can inspire awe and fear in the natural world—inviting reflection on restraint and responsibility alongside strength.
During the Pandavas’ forest life, Bhīma ranges through a terrifying, dense forest seeking game. He moves in varied ways—running, standing, sitting—like a skilled hunter on foot, and his powerful roar frightens the creatures as he penetrates deeper into the wilderness.
