नभस: प्रच्युता धारास्तिग्मवीर्या: सहस्रश: | आवृण्वन् सर्वतो व्योम दिशश्वोपदिशस्तथा,आकाशसे प्रचण्ड शक्तिशालिनी सहस्रों धाराएँ बरसने लगीं, जिन्होंने न केवल आकाशको ही, अपितु सम्पूर्ण दिशाओं और उपदिशाओंको भी सब ओरसे ढक लिया
nabhasaḥ pracyutā dhārās tigmavīryāḥ sahasraśaḥ | āvṛṇvan sarvato vyoma diśaś copadiśas tathā ||
アルジュナは言った。「天より、鋭く猛き力を帯びた流れが幾千となく降り注いだ。それらは四方に広がり、ただ大空のみならず、あらゆる方角とその間の方位までも、周囲から覆い隠した。」
अजुन उवाच
The verse primarily heightens the sense of awe and moral seriousness by portraying overwhelming, all-encompassing power; it suggests that events unfolding are not ordinary but carry a larger, almost cosmic weight that demands alertness and right discernment.
Arjuna describes a sudden, massive descent of powerful streams from the sky, so dense that they seem to blanket the entire heavens and all directions, functioning as a dramatic sign within the unfolding episode.
