इन्द्रस्य पाण्डवैः समागमः

Indra’s Meeting with the Pāṇḍavas

विरराम महातेजास्तमेवार्थ विचिन्तयन्‌ । वैशम्पायनजी कहते हैं--जनमेजय! धर्मात्मा भाई महातेजस्वी कुन्तीपुत्र युधिष्ठिर अर्थतत्त्वके विभागको ठीक-ठीक जाननेवाले थे। वे धर्मसे कभी च्युत न होनेवाले अपने भाई भीमसेनसे उपर्युक्त बातें कहकर चुप हो गये और उसी विषयपर बार-बार विचार करने लगे

ヴァイシャンパーヤナは語った。「その大いなる威光の者は口を閉ざし、なおも同じ事柄を思い巡らしていた。弟ビーマセーナに以上の要点を語り終えると、クンティーの子ユディシュティラ—ダルマに心を寄せ、アルタ(artha)の理における正しい区別をわきまえる者—は言葉を止め、ダルマから一歩も逸れず、同じ主題を幾度も幾度も反芻した。」
