Arjuna’s Arrival and Reunion on the Sacred Mountain
त॑ मृगेन्द्रमिवायान्तं प्रभिन्नमिव वारणम् | ददृशु: सर्वभूतानि बाणकार्मुकधारिणम्,मदवर्षी कुंजर और मृगराजकी भाँति आते हुए धनुष-बाणधारी भीमसेनको उस समय सब भूतोंने देखा
taṁ mṛgendram ivāyāntaṁ prabhinnam iva vāraṇam | dadṛśuḥ sarvabhūtāni bāṇa-kārmuka-dhāriṇam ||
ヴァイシャンパーヤナは語った。すると万の生きとし生けるものは、弓と矢を携えたビーマセーナが近づくのを見た――獣の王たる獅子のごとく、発情の狂気に酔う大象のごとく。正しき目的へと向けられた義の力は、全世界を畏敬させるほどの威容となることが、この場面に示されている。
