Kubera’s Fivefold Nīti and Protection of the Pāṇḍavas (वैश्रवणोपदेशः)
तान् प्रस्थितानभ्यगच्छद् वृषपर्वा महीपति: । उपन्यस्य महातेजा विप्रेभ्य: पाण्डवांस्तदा,उस समय उनके प्रस्थान करनेपर महातेजस्वी राजर्षि वृषपर्वाने पाण्डवोंको (उस देशके जानकार अन्य) ब्राह्मणोंके सुपुर्द कर दिया और कुछ दूर पीछे-पीछे जाकर उन कुन्तीकुमारोंको आशीर्वाद देकर प्रसन्न किया। तत्पश्चात् उन्हें रास्ता बताकर वृषपर्वा लौट आये
tān prasthitān abhyagacchad vṛṣaparvā mahīpatiḥ | upanyasya mahātejā viprebhyaḥ pāṇḍavāṁs tadā |
ヴァイシャンパーヤナは語った。パーンダヴァたちが出立すると、王ヴリシャパルヴァは彼らのもとへ赴いた。威光あふれるその君主は、土地に通じた学識ある婆羅門たちにパーンダヴァを託した。さらにしばらく後ろから付き添い、クンティーの子らに祝福を授けて心を和ませ、道筋を示し終えると、ヴリシャパルヴァは引き返した。
