tāṃ devasamitīṃ tasya vāsavaś ca viśāṃpate | abhyāgacchann apavaraṃ jñātum agniś ca bhārata ||
民の主よ、ウシーナラ王の偉大さの真のほどを知ろうとして、ヴァーサヴァ(インドラ)とアグニは、神々の集会にも似たその王の宮廷へと近づいた。
लोगश उवाच
True royal greatness is measured by dharma—especially generosity, integrity, and steadiness under examination—so much so that even the gods may come to test and reveal it.
