सा सर्खीभि: परिवृता दिव्याभरणभूषिता । चंक्रम्पमाणा वल्मीकं भार्गवस्य समासदत्,वह कन्या दिव्य वस्त्राभूषणोंसे विभूषित हो सखियोंसे घिरी हुई वनमें इधर-उधर घूमने लगी। घूमती-घामती वह भृगुनन्दन च्यवनकी बाँबीके पास जा पहुँची
sā sakhībhiḥ parivṛtā divyābharaṇabhūṣitā | caṅkramamāṇā valmīkaṃ bhārgavasya samāsadat ||
乙女は友らに囲まれ、天上の飾りを身にまとって森を歩き回った。歩みつつ、バーグヴァの聖仙チヤヴァナに結びつく蟻塚のもとへと辿り着いた。
