Kirmīra-rākṣasa-saṃgamaḥ (Encounter and Slaying of Kirmīra) |
dhig balaṃ bhīmasenasya dhig pārthasya ca gāṇḍīvam | yau māṃ viprakṛtāṃ kṣudrair marṣayetāṃ janārdana janārdana ||
The verse voices moral outrage at passive endurance of injustice: when the vulnerable are publicly wronged, mere strength or celebrated weapons are ethically meaningless if they do not protect dignity and uphold dharma.
A speaker laments being insulted by contemptible men and reproaches Bhīma’s strength and Arjuna’s famed bow for having ‘endured’ the situation; the complaint is directed to Kṛṣṇa (Janārdana), intensifying the sense of grievance and appeal for righteous response.
